Experience in :

  • Inguinal hernias: Assessment and surgical treatment of hernias in the inguinal area. These hernias are more common in men but they can also affect women. Virtually all patients with symptoms related to these hernias should be operated on
  • Chronic pain (inguinodynia): A good percentage of patients operated on with inguinal hernia suffer from pain. We offer a complete assessment of the problem from our experience and we will advise the most appropriate treatment, from more conservative therapies such as physiotherapy and acupuncture, to the most modern surgical options
  • Ventral hernia and diastasis of the rectum: Umbilical, epigastric hernias associated or not with diastasis of the rectum are common. Many women suffer from this problem after pregnancies. We are looking for the most appropriate alternative to this frequent problem
  • Incision hernias (eventrations): Up to 30% of patients who undergo an operation subsequently develop a hernia in the scar. Without a correct surgical treatment option, the problem may reappear or the meshes used present some type of problem. We make an assessment from our experience in this field, offering the treatment that provides the best solution and improves the patient’s quality of life
